Q: Does Salisbury offer a home warranty?
A: Yes. Salisbury Homes includes a 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty STANDARD ON EVERY HOME. (Click HERE for details).
The 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty runs concurrently with Salisbury Homes One Year Builders Warranty which covers against faulty workmanship but does not cover general “wear and tear”. Warranty requests under the Salisbury Homes One Year Builders Warranty are usually addressed within 48 hours and can be submitted HERE.
Q: How long does it take for Salisbury to build my new home?
A: Salisbury has the most efficient building schedule in the state of Utah. Depending on lot size and floor plan, we can get you into your home within a small window of time.
Q: How is Salisbury able to build a quality home in such a short period of time?
A: There’s an old saying that goes: “If you’re going to do something, do it well”. Salisbury has adopted this motto into our construction process. There are three main reasons why we’re able to build a top quality home in a short amount of time:
Q: What about custom changes or extras to the floor plan?
A: Yes. We’ll do custom changes. This is addressed while meeting with our Design Specialists in our Design Center to select your options and upgrades.
Q: Will Salisbury build one of their floor plans on a building lot I already own?
A: Yes. We’d want to do some research on your lot and determine a sales price, but yes, we can build one of our plans on your lot.
Q: How much money does Salisbury need me to put down in order to build me a new home?
A: Typically, Salisbury only requires a $500 earnest money deposit to hold your lot and additional $1,500 construction deposit when you write up the contract with one of our sales agents for a total of $2,000.
This amount can change if you’re building on a lot outside of a Salisbury neighborhood.
Please note that an additional deposit will be required for every $10,000 in options purchased.
Q: Are the building lots included in the base price?
A: It’s hard to believe, but yes, all of our base sales prices include the building lot.
Q: How much should I expect to pay for options and upgrades in my home?
A: It varies per home, but Salisbury Homes has exceptional option upgrade pricing, and in most cases, you will pay a lot less than you would with any other builder. When the final numbers are in, Salisbury plans on exceeding your expectations in this category!
Q: What appliances are included?
A: Your range, microwave, and dishwasher are included in the base sales price.
